Each of these puzzles is a callback to one of the puzzles in the COO round. Together, their answers give you Ruby's password, RUBYONETWOTHREE.
The picture is in Florence, Italy. To the left of the bar is a hotel, which is where one may rent a room. Room in Italian is CAMERA. Index 5 (the number of question marks) into CAMERA to get the letter R.
The grid makes a U when you highlight the answers with ADELE and ED in them.

To checkmate the black king in triangular chess, one may move the white bishop on row D to the Y cell. Thus, the letter extracted here is Y.
